Short description of MetaLab visit to the UK. Kindly hosted by Je Ahn, Joost Beunderman, Niamh Tuft /// Studio Weave, 00 bureau, British Council

We drew from imagination the project of our ideal space and won the Urban Actions competition. That moment became the twisting point of our urban action. We went offline. Our values, mission, and vision came tangible after the mentors’ visit to Ivano-Frankivsk.
Anyone of us completely understood what should be the main outcome of our visit to London. And at the end of the day this trip was as important as strategic session in Ivano-Frankivsk. Our way went through a number of successful, deeply impactful spaces in London and Birmingham. Stories of founders sometimes were astonishingly similar to what we aim to achieve in Ivano-Frankivsk. We felt not alone. We felt the importance and full potential of what we are doing.
Direct, concrete advices about community engagement, architectural elements, financial model integrated to our picture complementing it from various sides.
At the end we just understood one big and simple truth: “If you create something great people want to join you for being part of great.”
And other truth is:
“You will never walk alone”
